Iv had 205 on mine at one point, rubbed on the chassis rail, only the left side though, it mostly depends on what offset your wheels are, if your using std size then I doubt another 5mm will make a difference

What size of rim ? had to be a 8 inch -or 7 may be. im planing on buying some rally tyres for a present for my self for christmass. hard to get narrow tyres ( special order special price ) so im seeking out wider 185s , thanks dominator,

The 205 has 7"x15with a 45 offset, using 6.5x15 with 195/50 and 40 offset atm and it still slightly touches on full lock

I run 185/60/14's on standard Swift GTI alloys (5x14's) and have no issues with rubbing at all.
Even with 6x14's and Dunlop or Hankook Tarmac competition tyres fitted (18/56/14's) still no probs.
