Baleno wagon question

I need to replace the front and rear bumpers on my newly purchased 1999 GLX wagon. I have been offered bumpers off a 1997 wagon but I have not been able to look at them due to the distance to get there.
Can someone confirm if they will fit and save me a long trip?

Well I found the answer, I was so busy with other stuff I forgot to just look online.

I bought a 1999 GLX wagon for $600. It has been backed into something and had hit a small kangaroo, otherwise it is a nice car. I can easily fix it up.
I went to a couple of wreckers and was quoted big $$$ for any Baleno parts. There was no active Suzuki dealer around here 10 years ago so Balenos are not common.
I found a 1997 GLX wagon on gumtree for $450, and was considering buying it for parts. Due to relocation they needed it gone this weekend and so yesterday they offered it to me $350 if I picked it up straight away.
I left home at 4pm in the Range Rover and trailer for a 5 hour trip. When I got there the wagon had a flat battery and was in the back yard down a steep driveway with a large guard dog that would not take no for an answer so it took a while to get onto the trailer.
A slow 6.5 hour trip home dodging lots of big kangaroos ended at 4:30am.
I have just woken up and had a good look in the daylight. It is surprisingly good condition. The panels are straight and everything works. It has a couple of small dents and it needs a good buff. I can very easily fix it up.
So the trip was definitely worth it.

nice one mate. sounds like a real bargain. most of the balenos in the uk are dead and squashed up in scrap yards . how are they lasting down there rust wise ?.

We don't have that around here.
Unless parked under a tree or used on the coast, rust is not a problem. I had a 1949 Vauxhall sitting in my paddock for over 20 years until I gave it to a school to restore. It was rust free and only took a few repairs to get it going.

I just had a good look over it and there is a little bit of surface rust underneath because it has been sitting for a while but otherwise it is clean.

We don't have that around here.
Unless parked under a tree or used on the coast, rust is not a problem. I had a 1949 Vauxhall sitting in my paddock for over 20 years until I gave it to a school to restore. It was rust free and only took a few repairs to get it going.

its amazing that a 60 year old car is still alive, rust/tin worm. eats cars away from day 1 here no matter how well they are coated in stuff.
